ENGLISH THROUGH SOCIAL ACTIVITIES IN A LANGUAGE CAMP
Target:
Learning English in the classroom, students have many chances to practice what they are learning outside of class time. Students reside and share recreational activities, such as university visits of other countries, alongside other summer camp programs and have many opportunities to practice using English with new friends.
Course Description
Participants in this course will have the opportunity to develop their speaking, reading (instructions), and writing skills beyond how they are measured through English activities. Topics of special interest to other students, such as outdoor activities and diverse cultural practices, are included. An international culture class gives students the opportunity to pursue their studies in an area of personal interest and formally present their findings to their teachers and peers.
